Report from Jim Yanello for March 24, 2014.
Lots of birds and lots of flying around.
Here is HK leaving the nest:
A juvenile eagle showed up and one of the adult eagles gave chase.
The juvie gave Jim a great flyby opportunity.
The Banded Female and HK landed in the Cypress tree.
There was an unfriendly encounter with the newly returned Osprey pair. 4 birds are pictured.
HK and the Banded Female landed again and watched a Red-Tailed Hawk fly by.
Jim's hours at Honey Bee today: 4 hours, 25 minutes. Thanks, Jim!

Jim's Observations from March 20, 2014
Jim provided several photos of HK and the Banded Female.
Here is HK and the Banded Female flying low together.
Quote from Jim: "HK was carrying something and made several flights to the feeding tree from various location while still carrying it. It looked like some kind of moss to me."

HK leaves the fairway.
Jim was there until the sun went down and caught this beautiful shot of HK.
Jim's observation time: 9am-7pm. Great job, Jim!

Jim's Observations: March 19, 2014
I just KNEW Jim Yanello would get some fantastic photos today. I think he had been away from Honey Bee because of the weather for a couple of days. So, here we go!
A juvenile eagle showed up and was promply chased away by the Banded Female.
The juvie came back though.
And was chased off yet again by the Banded Female.
Later, both HK and the Banded Female spent time in the vicinity of the nest tree.

The Banded Female gave support.
More flight time.
