This is a blog about Norfolk Botanical Garden banded Bald Eagle "HK," hatched in 2009. The photos and observations are mine unless otherwise indicated.
I hope you enjoy this story of HK's life along a golf course on the North Landing River. Please take a second and leave a comment, they are greatly appreciated.
HK Builds His Nest
Wednesday, April 6, 2016
After being unable to follow HK for several days due to some family
obligations, I was able to get out to Honey Bee this afternoon. I didn't
spot HK at first then he moved a bit in the nest tree and became
visible. He appeared to be finishing up a meal.
He moved into the nest.
An adult Eagle (apparently Sterling) flew over. She did not land.
