HK and the Banded Female 1.3.14

I arrived at Honey Bee at 3:35pm and found two eagles on the Osprey Nest tower. It appeared to be a large female in the nest and HK on the side.

I assumed it was the banded female and managed a close up head shot.

She flew at 4:09pm and although I could not actually see her band, I believe this is the banded female because of a black vein visible in her tail feather. This is an identifying mark for her.

HK also flew and I drove around for a bit, eventually relocating HK in another tower close by.  Photo taken at 4:48pm as the sun was setting.  I left him in that tower at 5:00pm.
